Hello guys! Let's talk about work. Does everybody need it? Why is it so important? Can anyone do without it? Given information will help you to make sense of this.
In one way or another, all people around the world work for the ultimate purpose of seeking a better life. It is widely believed that people work solely for money. However, it is only one of the numerous important purposes of working, and oftentimes there is a lot of benefits that people obtain from working without even consciously realizing them. Nowadays, except for money, people still work for many reasons, including to understand and fulfill their responsibilities in society, to avoid wastefulness, and to keep their minds active.
For many people, the biggest benefit of working lies in a priceless lesson of responsibility. Through working, people learn how to be responsible, first to themselves, then to their families and the society. If working is all about money, why even kids from well-off families, Bill Gate’s for example, bother going to work even though they are guaranteed a wealthy future life whatsoever? It is because they want to be responsible for their own lives, to live on their labor, not on their parents’ fortune. Next, working gives them a strong sense of responsibility for their family and society. Family life is happiest when all members share family work and together contribute to make it a more comfortable and harmonious life. Likewise, a country is most prosperous when every citizen contributes their part to make it thrive.
Another important reason that makes people look for job is to understand the importance of producing property and avoid wastefulness. As a matter of fact, not working leads to indolence; indolence facilitates spending and extravagance. People who don’t work at all have nothing to keep themselves busy, hence often indulge in expensive entertainment, lavish shopping, and so on. Understanding this fact, many people, even privileged ones, choose to work to stay away from wastefulness, and to be helpful. In short, working, or living on what they created teaches them not only the value of labor and property, but also the importance of frugality and economy.
Last but not least, to work is to keep us active and in good shape. Working is about constantly learning and understanding things around us. When we stop working, we spend less time thinking and pondering about things that so far have deeply affected our lives. Soon knowledge is eroded, and our brains become idle and self-indulgent. As time goes on, we gradually lose concern about everything except ourselves. To prevent this from happening, some people, especially the old, still learn and work in various ways even though they have retired. As for the case of a group of sixty year old men in the US I knew about through newspaper, retirement did not prevent them from going to college and doing farming. They said doing these things made them remain active and healthy, and going to college gave them the liveliness of a twenty five year old teenager.
To sum up, working to most people are, although difficult, still rewarding because of the great benefits it brings about. Besides earning money, people also work for many important purposes, including to be aware of their duties, to steer clear from wastefulness, and to stay lively and active. Therefore, I would advise anyone to find a suitable work for themselves because working is the best way through which they can enjoy life.

Let's talk about science and technology
Science and Technology is the basis of modern civilization. The age in which we live can rightly be called the age of science and technology.
The progress of science and technology has made many useful achievements in every field of our life.
In everyday life, we enjoy various gifts of science and technology that have made our life more easy and comfortable than before.
- The morning newspaper which brings to us all important news of the whole world is a product of science.
- For our daily comforts science has given us the electric light, the electric fan, the refrigerator and the electric oven.
- Science and technology has made our means of communication and transport very easy. Buses, trains, ships and Aero-planes uses advanced technologies and carry us to distant places for more quickly.
- Newer technologies help us in taking out all the minerals liker coal, iron, gold, diamond and mica from the science.
- Introduction of latest technology in the works of cultivation by the scientific methods have greatly increased the production of crops.
- Science and technology also provides us with the some means of amusement like radio, television and video that entertains us.
- Many life giving medicines that cure our diseases are also the gift of science.
- Now satellites are sent to the sky to bring many information of the outer space.
- Man has even been able to set foot on the moon and know many things about other planets.
All the above wonders have been possible only due to development of science and technology.
But science and technology has also been abused by many people. The gross use of science and technology for destructive purposes has twined it to a curse. Deadly scientific weapons like atom and hydrogen bombs, missiles can destroy the whole world in a moment.
Atomic energy can be used effectively for constructive purposes. It can turn a desert into a fertile land. It can also be used in curing some incurable diseases, if scientific research is properly made in this respect.
Thus, science and technology can make the human civilization perfect in all respect.

21. Wait to get a pet until after college – a pet can become very expensive. Not only do you have another mouth to feed, but veterinary bills are costly. If you love animals, there are plenty of shelters that need volunteers.
22. Go to class. You’re paying for it and skipping is like throwing money out the window!
23. Drink water. It’s free and better for you, anyway.
24. Make your own coffee. While coffee shops are convenient, they charge hefty prices that really add up over time.
25. Open a savings account that earns interest. Credit unions have fewer fees and are great for students.
26. Use a free tool, like FinAid’s Student Budget Calculator or the one offered byMint.com, to keep track of your finances. It’s harder to be frivolous when you see where your money is going.
27. Never take out a loan for anything that’s unrelated to your education.
29. Look into class requirements and the options for testing out of classes. Why pay for a class you could easily test out of?

“A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.” ― Albert Einstein

Hello guys! What are you doing? How are you? I don't know what to write. Let's talk today about vocabulary. This word is familier to everyone. So, how to learn vocabulary?
Read this information and you will understand.
Learning vocabulary is a very important part of learning a language. The more words you know, the more you will be able to understand what you hear and read; and the better you will be able to say what you want to when speaking or writing.
Some students put a tick or cross in their dictionary next to every word they look up. The next time they turn to a page with a marked word, they quickly check to see if they remember the meaning of that word.
In all of the above ways, you are doing something with the words. It’s usually not enough to just read through a list of words with their definitions or translations and try to remember them. Most students find that they memorise words better if they do something with them. Even better is to try and learn the word in a typical combination with other words. Learning that to apologize means to say sorry is a good start, but it's much better to learn a whole expression containing the word, e.g. He apologized for being late. Not only is this often easier to remember, but you are also learning some very important information on how the word is used.
The more you work on learning a word, as suggested above, the more likely it is that it will become part of your active vocabulary.
Native speakers learn these things about words by hearing them and reading them again and again. This is the best way for you to learn them, too.
Read this information and you will understand.
Learning vocabulary is a very important part of learning a language. The more words you know, the more you will be able to understand what you hear and read; and the better you will be able to say what you want to when speaking or writing.
Which words to learn
Every day you hear or read many new English words. You also find them in your dictionary when you are translating from your own language. You can’t possibly learn all these new words, so your first problem is to decide which ones to concentrate on. Here are some suggestions:- learn the words that are important to the subjects you are studying
- learn the words that you read or hear again and again
- learn the words that you know you will often want to use yourself
- do not learn words that are rare or not useful (your teacher can help you with this)
How to learn words
Once you have chosen which words to learn, you next have to decide how you are going to learn them. Here are a few ideas:- write the words in a notebook (with their translations or definitions)
- write the words and definitions on small cards
- say the words many times (if you have an electronic dictionary you can hear how the word is pronounced)
- put the words into different groups (you could use a graphic organiser)
- write them in a file for use with a computer program
- make associations (in pictures or with other words)
- ask someone to test you
- use the words in your own speaking or writing
Some students put a tick or cross in their dictionary next to every word they look up. The next time they turn to a page with a marked word, they quickly check to see if they remember the meaning of that word.

Not only is this often easier to remember, but you are also learning some very important information on how the word is used.
Learning for vocabulary tests
The previous section on this page gives general advice on how to learn the words that you have chosen as important for you. Often, however, you will be given a set of words by your teacher and told to learn them for a vocabulary test. In this case you need to be sure exactly how you will be tested, because this will influence how you learn the words. There are several ways that the teacher might test your vocabulary learning, but the ways are broadly divided into two categories:- You will be given the word and have to:
- write a definition
- use it in an example sentence
- translate it into your language
- You will be given:
- a definition
- a gapped example sentence
- the translation in your language
Learning vocabulary by reading
The way you learned very many of the words in your own language was by meeting them in the books and magazines you read. The context of a new word in a sentence or story was often enough for you to guess the meaning. Meeting the word again and again in your reading helped you learn it for use in your own speaking and writing. Doing lots of extra reading for pleasure - both fiction and non-fiction - is an excellent way to learn new English words, too. But choose books that you find quite easy to read. Difficult stories or texts that you struggle to understand will not help you to develop your vocabulary the natural way. But remember: to learn new words from reading you have to read A LOT!More information about learning words
The vocabulary you know can be divided into two groups - passive vocabulary and active vocabulary. Passive vocabulary contains all the words that you understand when you read or listen, but which you do not use (or cannot remember) in your own writing and speaking. Active vocabulary is all the words you understand, plus all the words that you can use yourself. Your active vocabulary, in English and your own language, is probably much smaller than your passive vocabulary. The more you work on learning a word, as suggested above, the more likely it is that it will become part of your active vocabulary.
Things to know about the words you learn
Usually the first things you learn about a new English word are what it means and its translation in your own language. But there are other things you need to find out before you can say that you know a word like a native speaker does. For example, you have to learn:- how it is spelled
- how it is pronounced
- how it is inflected (i.e. how it changes if it is a verb, noun or adjective)
- other grammar information about it
- how it collocates (i.e. what other words are often used with it)
- if it has a particular style or register
- the context in which it is most likely to be used
Native speakers learn these things about words by hearing them and reading them again and again. This is the best way for you to learn them, too.

7 Tips for Learning English through Film and Movies
1. Choose an interesting movie. This probably sounds obvious, but if you choose a boring movie, you’ll be bored. And if you’re bored, it will be difficult to pay attention…for more than one and a half hours!
I remember when I was a child, I had to watch hours and hours of really old movies like “Singing in the Rain”, “Mary Poppins” to learn English. If you don’t know these films – you’re welcome to check them up – they’re really old! I didn’t exactly hate them, but I didn’t feel excited at all when watching these films.
And because of that, I highly recommend you choose movies you like. To do this, you can go to a website called Rotten Tomatoes, which is a website with many great critics and reviews on many tens of thousands of movies.
2. Select a movie that matches your current English level. For example, for beginners in English, I usually recommend you learn English through animations. The main reason is because the English is usually very friendly, nice and easy to understand.
On the other hand, if you try to watch something like “Romeo and Juliet”, you will be very confused. Shakespearian English (which is English used many centuries ago) is very difficult to understand on screen, even for advanced English learners.
3. Bring your dictionary. Maybe I’ll add point 3.5 too – choose a film with subtitles! So when you hear a word you’re interested in, check it up! Because you went through the trouble to understand it…you’ll be able to remember that word for a long time too!
4. Repeat short phrases! Some times, you might hear something cool in the movie. For example, some short phrases, or slang like, “hell yeah!”, or “sure thing”, or “you betcha!” that are commonly used in English. If you like how it sounds, it really helps to repeat it! After saying it out loud a while, you will be able to remember it for a longer time! It’s a great and enjoyable exercise – one of my personal favourites.
5. Without subtitles. I know it can be really challenging to watch a film in a foreign language without subtitles. So here’s my recommendation. When you watch a film the first time, just turn on subtitles. But if you get the chance to watch it a second time, try turning off subtitles.
This way, you already know the story from the first time you watched it. And this time, you can try listening to some individual words that you might have checked up last time. Or you might try to see how much you can understand the film without subtitles.
6. VLC player. This is actually a video player I recommend for watching films on your computer. This is one of my favourite tools. Most people use it just to watch movies, but I use it a little differently. (And if you don’t have it, you can download VLC player, it’s free.)
Here’s what I do – if you download a movie online, and you play it, you know how you don’t understand English sometimes? VLC Player allows you to play back movies at half speed or quarter speed. So if there are parts you don’t understand, you can play these back at a slower speed and try again! It’s very helpful to practice your listening.
7. It’s okay to miss words…just let it go. Last of all, remember what we said in the start? Watching movies should be fun…so if you miss a word, a phrase, or even many sentences, that’s okay! Just follow along the subtitles and learn that way. Don’t make yourself feel bad…watching films is supposed to be fun!

- English is the official language of 53 countries. That is a lot of people to meet and speak to.
- English is spoken as a first language by around 400 million people around the world.
- English is the language of the media industry. If you speak English, you won’t need to rely on translations and subtitles anymore to enjoy your favourite books, songs, films and TV shows.
- English is also the language of the Internet. Many websites are written in English – you will be able to understand them and to take part in forums and discussions.
- English is based on a simple alphabet and it is fairly quick and easy to learn compared to other languages.
- English is not only useful — it gives you a lot of satisfaction. Making progress feels great. You will enjoy learning English, if you remember that every hour you spend gets you closer to perfection.
- Since English is spoken in so many different countries there are thousands of schools around the world that offer programmes in English. If you speak English, there’re lots of opportunities for you to find an appropriate school and course to suit your academic needs.
- Because it’s fun! By learning English, you will also learn about other cultures. Few experiences will make you grow as a person more than learning the values, habits and way of life in a culture that is different from yours.

Today, I want to talk about some interesting activity like Brainstorm.
Vocabulary Brainstorm works well as a Warm Up, serving as a means to get students
thinking about the topic. It's a pre-step which activates pre-existing knowledge on
the topic. Students work in pairs or groups and brainstorm words together.
Step One: The teacher places students in pairs or small groups of three. If the groups are
too large, then one or two students may only passively listen rather than actively volunteer
words. This most often happens with weaker students placed in groups with stronger
students.
Step Two: The teacher writes the topic or theme on the board. The topic or theme can
focus the attention of the students. For example, if the students were to study the
environment, then they could brainstorm vocabulary around global warming, pollution manmade
threats to the planet, etc. to talk about the environment later.
For lessons with an accompanying target grammar structure, the words may then be used
when introducing the grammar, when practicing the target structure, and of course in the
conversations later in the lesson.
Step Three: Students work together and brainstorm vocabulary words. One student should
write the words as everyone volunteers vocabulary for the list. Dictionaries should not be
used, as you want students to brainstorm and share pre-existing knowledge. The teacher
should allot three to five minutes for this step.
Step Four: The teacher may ask for students to say the words aloud as he writes them on
the board. Alternatively, students can come to the board and write the words themselves.
The teacher may also merge pairs/groups, with each pair/group presenting the information
to one another. The vocabulary will be used and reused for subsequent steps in the lesson,
so pairs/groups can even merge more than once to ensure everyone has an identical list of
words.

Good afternoon, friends! How are you?
Today we will learn such an interesting topic called Sport.
As usual, I have some questions for you!
1) What is sport to you?
2) How often do you do sport?
3) Which sport do you like/hate and why?
4)What do you think about sportsmen's salaries?
I'm looking forward to reading all your comments!
Basically, sport is an activity involving physical exertion and skill in which an individual or team competes against another or others for entertainment.
Actually, nowadays sport is very popular and I think it's really great! The world changes so fast with all its Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat and Periscope. People try to follow their idols, also in terms by sport. Well, people are still lazy, but they try to do sport, especially yoga, box, football and fitness are populal.
Nevertheless, I found some interesting videos for you:
